If your school had a research team, what would you study? What data would you track? What stories would you tell? We develop in-depth research reports for our members, and work with schools to develop, support, and take on the critical research projects you need to move ahead.

Our Research Agenda

We conduct practical and timely in-depth research on topics based on trends we are seeing in independent and public schools and in the broader field of education. Is your school grappling with a question that requires a research or evidence base to provide insight?

We work with individual schools on providing the research to redesign aspects of their school design and structure, whether that be a small departmental curriculum revision or a broad whole school reimagining.

Build your Institutional Research Capability

Does your school have an institutional research function that is aligned to your strategic plan?

We work with schools on building your internal institutional research capability through the creation of a customized plan to move from a school that has data, to a school that uses data to inform decision-making.

Be your Institutional Research Department

Not all schools have the capacity or budget to have a full institutional research function at their school. We work with schools as their outsourced IR function. In that role, we:

Make recommendations on current data collection and management practices.
Support school leaders in considering key questions to ask based on the data the school collects.
Take on projects aligned to a key research question the school has, using the data they have available.
